Cliff's Tattoo of Long Island abides by all laws mandated by the State of New York in terms of age restrictions in both Tattooing and Piercing.
New York State Law states that to be tattooed you must be 18 years or older and have present with you at the time of your tattoo a legal form of identification in which to verify your age and identity.
To be pierced in New York you must be 18 years or older (as with tattoos) and must show a legal form of ID.
Persons under the age of 18 may still be pierced but must have a Cliff's Tattoo consent form signed by a legal guardian and notarized. The legal guardian must be present at the time of the piercing. Both the child being pierced and the parent/guardian must show identification.
With both piercings and tattoos, once the ID is taken it is photocopied onto the consent form and filed away as proof of following protocol for tattoing and piercing.
Cliff's Tattoo does not make exceptions in regards to these laws.
